Psychodrama Open Session
with Dusan Potkonjak
We will encourage group communication and respect for basic group rules. These are the good will to communicate, mutual respect, benevolence, confidentiality and no destructive behaviour.
But there is no pressure; people can participate in ways convenient for them and in a safe group environment.
The reality is that in every group session encounters in the here and now between group participants can happen. But in these encounters we may also be reminded consciously or unconsciously of important people from our past.
So there will be a mixture between direct encounters in the here and now in the group Tele, and influences from previous relationships on the present encounter, called Transference.
Also we can at times see parts of ourselves in other people and so some mirroring happens, too.
So we will start with group communication and follow the interpersonal group process.
But since it is Psychodrama, we will explore, when convenient, relationships on the Psychodramatic Stage, as Moreno said the spontaneous improvisational theatre of truth.
