Sharing Stories with Playback Theatre
Playback Theatre creates a context where personal stories can be shared in a public space. These stories are volunteered and can be everyday experiences as well as extraordinary moments, happy or sad. Our guest presenter Julie will facilitate your access to natural playfulness, creativity and spontaneity. Across the evening you will be taught foundation skills, and be both tellers and performers. Your invitation is to be surprised by the meaning and magic of Playback Theatre.
Julie Lacy MA, UKCP
Julie is a highly experienced psychodrama psychotherapist. She introduced Playback Theatre to London in 1991 and was first Artistic Director of London Playback Theatre. Julie works within a holistic frame, and draws on other arts therapies, mindfulness & compassion, positive psychology and depth psychology in her practice. Julie is also a writer with several screen and book projects in development.
